Product & Innovation Intern
Role Summary

You'll support our Head of Product & Innovation by conducting research, managing projects, and assisting with administrative tasks. In this role you will:
- Conduct research on Solar PV systems, EV chargers, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in managing projects related to product development and innovation.
- Support the Head of Product & Innovation (HPI) in scheduling meetings and preparing documents.
- Maintain organized records of meetings, decisions, and action items.
- Handle communications, prioritize tasks, and draft correspondence for the HPI.
- Utilize digital tools like Google G Suite, Canva, and ChatGPT to enhance workflow efficiency and presentation quality.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Pursuing or completing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin languages.
- Understanding of community building, maker movement, startup ecosystems, and innovation.
- Previous experience supporting senior executives with administrative tasks is advantageous.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Google G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and creative software.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and plan effectively.
- Commitment to customer service, continuous learning, and embracing diversity.
- Basic knowledge of foundational electrical and electronic principles would be beneficial.
