Commercial & Industrial Engineer Intern
Role Summary
Seeking a dynamic Commercial and Industrial Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy, focusing on solar projects for commercial and industrial sectors. This role involves supporting technical visits, design reviews, customer advocacy, proposal creation, project management, and proactive outreach.
In this role you will:
- Learn the ropes: You'll shadow experts on site visits to understand customer needs for solar energy.
- Assist with sales: You'll help explain solar systems and equipment to businesses.
- Support project design: You'll help ensure solar systems meet technical requirements and customer expectations.
- Improve solar solutions: You'll contribute ideas to enhance SOLS's offerings based on customer needs.
- Help manage projects: You'll assist in developing proposals, timelines, and managing projects from start to finish.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Currently enrolled: In a Bachelor's program related to engineering, renewable energy, or a similar field.
- Renewable Energy Enthusiast: Passionate about solar and sustainability.
- Solar Industry Learner: Eager to gain practical experience in solar.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem Solver: Analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized & Efficient: Able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
